A professor caught in Transexual prostitution!

A famed professor from the prestigious University of Georgia has been charged with prostitution after a sting operation busted him dressed up as a woman and soliciting clients at a hotel.

Max Reinhart, 65, was arrested on Thursday at the Guest House Inn near Norcross, Georgia, after detectives arranged to meet his transexual psydenym, "Sasha," reported Channel 2 Action News.

The police were alerted to the German professor's extracurricular activities by an online ad in the transexual services section of a website.

"It is a very unusual case. We think it was an isolated incident with only the professor involved. He was acting as a transsexual prostitute. We don't know how long he was doing it for," Detective James Flanagan, spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

Reinhart was released about 9.15 p.m. Thursday on a $4,800 bond, according to jail records. He is charged with prostitution and running a house of prostitution for trying to solicit people for himself, and could face up to a year in prison.

"The keeping the house if prostitution charge is because he rented out a hotel room to meet with his clients, but he didn't actually run a brothel," explained Detective Flanagan.

When interviewed by Channel 2, Reinhart said he was humiliated by the incident. "I am embarrassed. I am feeling very stupid," revealed the German literature expert.
