The world’s hairiest man is capitalising on his condition by launching a Hollywood career.
Larry Gomez has already had a bit part in the Reese Witherspoon film Water For Elephants and has now filmed a pilot episode for a reality show.
The 35-year-old suffers from a rare condition called hypertrichosis universalis, which affects just one in a billion people.
Also known as werewolf syndrome, it is a genetic mutation where cells that normally switch off hair growth in unusual areas, like the eyelids and forehead, are left switched on.
Formerly a trapeze artist and acrobat, Gomez, has found himself on the receiving end of plenty of female attention since he burst onto the Hollywood scene.
