GOtv, a pay-television service that has just gone live in Lagos, is using the Big Brother Stargame to attract subscribers.The General Manager, GOtv Nigeria, Mr. Mayo Okunola, said the pay TV did not require a satellite dish installation but only a branded decoder and a stub or grid antenna.He said, “We know Big Brother is a massive TV property in Africa; so getting to screen the big moments from the show to our GOtv audiences was something we really wanted to do.
Now that the show has been on air for a month, we can see that it was a good decision.“There are so many highlights that our viewers want to see and with two months more to go on the show, it is clear that there is a lot still to happen!”
